Free Post: My Spring Break

Overall, my spring break was pretty good. I got out of school on Thursday and rode a bus to Orlando. The band was going to Disney World and the Universal Studios theme park. I wasn't too excited for this trip because I'm deathly afraid of drops in roller coasters. Disney World has a lot of roller coasters, and Universal especially has a lot of big roller coasters, so there were quite a couple I didn't ride. But, there was a lot of stuff that I could ride and it made things a lot more fun.
When I came home from Orlando, I was pretty relieved. I mean four days in theme parks can just get kind of exhausting. I was already making plans and such, then I woke up the next day with a sore throat and a tremendous amount of pressure in my ears. I made the best of my situation and watched a bunch of House episodes, which are always entertaining. When I finally felt better on Sunday, going bike riding on the Mississippi River levee was a good choice. The beginning of spring was taking effect on the trees and grass, and so wildflowers were blooming and it was just a pretty day overall.

P.S. The worst thing about roller coasters with drops are the pictures afterwards where they took a picture of your terrified, but hilarious face and then make it possible for your siblings to see it.

Two Statements, 4 and 8

4. Who we are--our essential character and temperament--is fixed and unchangeable.
I strongly disagree with this, humans change all the time based on their past conditions. I've changed as I've grown up to become more and more hardworking as my parents have raised me to be like. I think in Macbeth, he changes from a honest gentlemen into a backstabbing subordinate, because he had an experience with the three witches.

8. If something is destined to happen, it will happen without your interference. I agree, sometimes we think we need to interfere and it happens because we interfere, but when it was told to happen, whoever said it would happen knew that the person would interfere to make it come true, so in a way, we do let it happen. In Macbeth, I think that the fact that he's interfering is him letting it happen to him. I let things happen very often, when Christmas comes around, I know I'm going to get morning presents, but I don't exactly strongly hint to my parents that we need to have presents on Christmas day or anything.
